XDEEP SMALL BOLT SNAP
Bolt snaps are an essential item, especially for divers who use wing (back float) type BCDs. By attaching bolt snaps to your regulator or SPG (pressure gauge) and clipping them to your BCD, you can keep the hoses compactly wrapped around your body when you are in a trim (streamlined) position.
For example, when swimming between narrow rocks, the Octopus got stuck between the rocks, the purge button was pressed, air flowed, and I panicked a little and took a while to deal with it, and the remaining pressure dropped rapidly. If this happens, it may be because the hose is not clipped to the BCD.
Example of using X DEEP's NX SMALL Bolt Snap
Second Stage (Octopus)
The Octopus is a secondary (spare) stage to share when your second stage breaks down, your buddy has little air, or you run out of air. For that reason, you would normally connect it to a hose using a Dyneema cord or nylon line, but in the case of the Octopus, we recommend that you insert an O-ring between the two so that in an emergency, you can pull it hard to remove it from the D-ring of the BCD without having to remove the bolt snap.
Submersible Pressure Gauge
Diving Light
It is possible to put it in the BCD pocket, but you can also hook it to the BCD D-ring by attaching a bolt snap to the light body or cable.
